HB # 4641 – “AN ACT CONVERTING THE PALOMPON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALOMPON, PROVINCE OF LEYTE INTO A STATE UNIVERSITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE PALOMPON POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY”.

HB # 4641 – “AN ACT CONVERTING THE PALOMPON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALOMPON, PROVINCE OF LEYTE INTO A STATE UNIVERSITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE PALOMPON POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY”.

On June 4^th 2013, the above named Institute received the said message enclosed in a letter coming from the Legislative Office under the  Office of the President of the Philippines dated 22 May 2013 signed by Michael G. Aguinaldo, Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs of the above stated Office.

The said Office is requesting for comments and/or recommendation from the President of the Institute on the attached enrolled bill presented by Congress on 20 May 2013 for the President’s approval.

The Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs also stated that the said bill will lapse into law on June 20, 2013 if not vetoed or acted upon by the President, pursuant to Art. VI, Sec. 27 (1) of the Constitution.

Finally, the Deputy Secretary said that his Office will appreciate it, if the PIT President could submit her comments and recommendation as soon as possible.
